IS THERE A PLACE FOR PERFORMANCES BY ADULT STUDENTS OR HOBBY MUSICIANS AT THE SCHUBERT CLUB?

It's not much fun, or motivating to have taken steps toward learning a new instrument or toward receiving vocal training, and to not have any opportunity to showcase your efforts, or to not have a memorable end to a music level before progressing on to another. More and more music teachers are expressing the need for performance opportunities for adult music students, and some have already taken the lead to engage their adult music students in performances at Performers Concerts. This Schubert Club event is open to all classical musicians and vocalists, young or old, experienced or just starting out. It is a warm and non-judgmental platform for our community of musicians to utilize, whichever way they see fit, to encourage others of the love and beauty of learning something new and of sharing music. There are no rules about what pieces may be played or sung,  or how often one may perform them. If a  musician wishes to present a practiced piece at one or all four of the Performers Concerts throughout the year, they may - What better way to hone one's performance skills!

If you teach adult students, are yourself an adult hobby musician or a professional musician, you can find out how to register to perform at the Schubert Club Performers Concert, by clicking  "Learn More" below.
