The Music Teacher’s Round Table is an informal gathering of music teachers, who share interesting information pertaining to the art of teaching.
We will be concentrating primarily on topics related to studio teaching. With an open forum, we will be sharing new material which supports professional growth. There is plenty of time to share your teaching experiences with your colleagues and learn from others in the group. There will be something for everyone to discover. If we have a special speaker we may conduct the meeting via Zoom.
We will cover a variety of topics relating to important aspects of teaching. For example:
Relationships - with Students, Parents, Colleagues and the community.
Practice Techniques - Teaching using Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype. From printed music to downloading.
Methods and Manuscripts - Favored method books, Repertoire and why.
