Social Impact Awards

Granted to three outstanding Schubert Club members whose social impact in the field of Music has been recognized within their community.

The Process

Step 1

Completion of Application for Nomination 

Identify a Schubert Club Member Nominee who you think deserves recognition under the appropriate Social Impact Award category. Any individual, 18 years or older, may complete the Application for Nomination. 


Deadline: March 29, 2026.

Step 2

Assessment of Applications

Applications will be evaluated for quality and quantity to determine the Schubert Club Social Impact Award Recipients for each of the three categories: Teaching, Performing, Spirit.


Award Recipients will be announced April 7, 2026.

Step 3

Awards Ceremony

In recognition for their contributions, Award Recipients will receive a certificate at the Schubert Club End of Year Luncheon in May 2026. Each individual will also be featured on the Schubert Club's Website and social media channel.

Category 1

Teaching

Award

Awarded to an individual whose social impact in the field of Music is evident from their:

  • Commitment to music education
  • Positive influence on their students' progression in music
  • Personal commitment to being a lifelong learner and continuing to develop and hone their craft in teaching.

Category 2

Performance

Award

Awarded to an individual whose social impact in the field of Music is evident from their:

  • Commitment to music performance
  • Positive influence on audiences 
  • Personal commitment to being a lifelong learner and continuing to develop and hone their craft in music performance.

Category 3

Spirit

Award

Awarded to an individual whose social impact in the field of Music is evident from their:

  • Commitment to ensuring that music remains accessible, enjoyable, and appreciated by individuals and the community at large.
  • Displays of kindness, approachability, a non-judgemental attitude, selfless behavior and good character.
